Arrived at Newberry Mountain RV Park last night at 8:40pm. It was a long day of driving. We had two close calls on the drive. Near Vallejo, our outdoor mat almost flew out the back of the truck. On Interstate 5, near Patterson, our bike rack broke and we almost lost all of our bicycles. Luckily I had also used a tied down strap on the bikes, so they were just barely hanging on. We will be buying a new bike rack today. We carried them the rest of the way inside the trailer. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises in the desert.
